I spent weeks looking for a specific truck model for my wife and finally located the vehicle of her choice at Target Auto Centre on an online ad. I had been assured by my local banker the funding would be available by a certain date, so I called the Centre and and was able to speak to a friendly adviser ....Tom. After a knowledgeable discussion with Tom who covered every aspect of the vehicle and process required to complete the sale , and agreeing to meet me one hour from his dealership with the vehicle, I agreed to give him a deposit on this wonderful vehicle with full intentions of completing the deal within two weeks with the promised funding and driving an eight hour drive with a friend to pick up the vehicle, Unfortunately as the agreed time was coming to an close my banker informed me that my loan was not approved, thereby resulting in me having to cancel my deal. Tom had offered me an alternative to financing but it required me having to go to his dealership in London and being from Northern Ontario, this was not an option for me as a death in the family had me occupied with other engagements. After explaining my delima to Tom he assured me he would fo everything in his power to recover my deposit and hopefully we could arrange another deal at an appropriate time later in the future . Being a Senior citizen on a limited income, this unselfish gesture to refund a deposit that would of been surely lost by another organization meant a great deal to me. The knowledge and compassion of this employee says it all for the Dealership he represents and I would recommend Tom and his company to anyone looking for their next auto purchase.
